Liam Cullen Season Ticket

Swansea City would like to remind supporters that the general sale window remains open for purchasing season tickets for the 2021-22 campaign.

Supporters have until midnight on Saturday, 8 May to make a purchase, with the club having already seen an increase in the number of fans who have bought a season ticket for the first time.

As part of our ‘Proud to be a Jack’ campaign we have spoken to the likes of Alan Tate, Alan Curtis and Leon Britton on what the club means to them and their favourite moments over the years.

And another of those who has immense pride in representing the club is Liam Cullen, who has been with the club since the age of eight.

The young striker used to watch the Swans at the Vetch Field before their move to the Liberty Stadium, while Cullen has also been a mascot for the club he loves.

Now making his mark in the club’s first-team, the Kilgetty-born product outlines exactly what it means to wear the black and white.

“When I started going to the Vetch when I was four, I just looked forward to the weekend to being able to watch the team. When I signed when I was eight, I just wanted to play for Swansea City,” he said.

“Hearing the fans sing my name from the top corner in the East Stand, it gives you goosebumps.

“We are doing quite well now and a lot of that is because we want to do it for the fans. Hopefully when we get them back in the stadium, we can keep putting a smile on their face and we can get the place rocking again.

“I think that’s what everyone is most excited for, because that’s who we play for at the end of the day.

“The community, the people at the club, it’s like one big family. I think that’s the biggest factor in why I’m proud to be a Jack.”
